Black & White Vintage Glam – {Inspiration Board}

Over the weekend I met with a bride and groom who will be exchanging their vows in July. I am truly excited about this wedding because the bride loves vintage inspired designs and details. Two of my favorites design elements in a wedding. I created several inspiration boards for the couple before the meeting to help define exactly what they liked about black and white (with a splash of red) and what they did not. She fell in love with the more vintage-inspired glam ideas which I was able to collect from my co-bloggers and wedding planners. Thank you all for inspiring me. Below are some of the boards created.

Peter & Gladys – {A Romantic Wine Country Wedding}

When I first met Peter & Gladys to discuss their wedding plans, one thing I knew for sure. It was going to be a truly romantic wedding. After visiting multiple venues in the Los Angeles area, we took a short road trip to Temecula and found the perfect place. Walking into Mount Palomar, you immediatly get the comfortable inviting old-world feel of the Tuscan villa.  Mount Palomar offered romance and elegance and was located on a hilltop giving guests a panoramic view of Temecula Valley. It was a perfect place for the perfect day. PHOTOGRAPHY: Signature Exposure

Event Pros LA designed a tent which was draped with white chiffon fabric and large chandeliers hanging overheard and crystal candelabras as part of the centerpiece for a truly magnificent look.

Something Blue {An Inspiration Board by Event Pros}

Years ago, brides were using small sashes and ribbons to accent their whole white wedding which was thought of as unique and creative. Today, brides are using an array of hues to cover every inch of their wedding, to bring out their personality in their decor, flowers, dresses and shoes.

For the past several seasons, brides have been wearing blue shoes and really getting creative with blue details throughout their wedding reception. Below is an inspiration board by Event Pros LA to help our brides that love the color blue and want some fabulous ideas for their upcoming wedding.

Some of our favorite weddings have been incorporating blue details such as chair cover sashes, blue shade glass cylinders in the middle of the table to give your blue wedding different blue hues and accents. Another fun idea to incorporate blue into your special day is through your bridesmaids. Why not find a stunning blue dress to accent the wedding. It can really make a bold statement!
